Beware Refinancing Promises and Gimmicks

Several complaints have been noted regarding promises made for refinancing that the mortgage broker could not meet. This has resulted in countless wasted hours by consumers simply wanting to improve their financial situation.

Be very wary of any mortgage broker that contacts you. There are far better ways for tracking names of good mortgage brokers. Ask friends of co-workers who they have used and ask how they're process went. Don't ask for "friends in the business!" Specifically ask around and create a list of mortgage brokers who have done right by your friends and co- workers. Don't be fooled by the marketing gimmicks.
